Customized Lawn Treatment

Marshall's Lawn Service has a variety of fertilizing programs available for both commercial and residential lawns, including ORGANIC. By fertilizing regularly, we’ll give your lawn just the right nutrients – at just the right time — to promote not only healthy, green top growth, but also the root system that is the foundation of a beautiful lawn.

    Traditional Fertilizer Options

The expert team at Marshall's Lawn Service provide year-round well-known fertilizer applications including:

Early Spring Application: February - March

Promotes an early spring green-up that feeds your lawn's roots with fertilizer high in nutrients that support winter recovery. It includes applying a pre-emergent for control of Crabgrass and Foxtail and spot spraying any visible weeds.

Late Spring Application: April - May

Includes application of a post-emergent liquid herbicide to control Crabgrass and Foxtail as well as a broadleaf herbicide for control of weeds like Dandelions, Chickweed, Henbit, Clover, and other broadleaf weeds.

    Summer Application: June - July

Supports a slow-release, granular fertilizer to prepare your lawn with a balanced rate of nitrogen and nutrients for the stress of summer months. Includes spot spray of broad-leaf weeds as needed.

    Grub Application: June - July

Reduces the chance of grub damage. Grubs start feeding primarily on the lawn's root system in early summer, but the damage doesn't appear until later in July - October. Our preventive treatment applied at the right time can reduce the chance of major damage before it occurs.

Grub application will be serviced at the same time as the Summer Application.

Turf Insecticide Application: July - August

Supports the turf with an insecticide specifically for surface-feeding insects such as cutworms, sod webworms, and chinch bugs that feed on your lawn and cause considerable damage during the hot summer months.

Early Fall Application: September - October

Boosts the development of the turf's root system with a balanced rate of fertilizer for summer recovery. Includes spot spray of broadleaf weeds as needed and recommendations on thin or bare areas that may need seeded, aerated, and sodded.

Late Fall Application: October - November

Supplies a quick-release fertilizer supporting root growth, ensuring enough food to survive through the winter months to support an earlier green up in the spring.
